A locket with chain. The late 19th century belcher-link chain suspending an oval shape locket designed with buckle-shape to the engraved surround. Length 46cms. Weight 39.9gms.

Condition Report

The condition of this lot is fair, with tarnish, scratches and marks to the metal in keeping with age and wear. The locket is relatively fine in weight and areas of the raised belt design to the front have worn through in small holes. The back has some engraving that has worn slightly.
