GARRARD & CO. - a 1970s 18ct gold and sapphire novelty brooch. Designed as a textured cat, with sapphire cabochon eyes and articulated limbs. Maker's mark for Garrard & Co. Import marks for London, 1975. Length 4.2cms. Weight 16.8gms.

<li>Overall condition good. Some surface scratches and slight discolouration in keeping with general age and wear.
<li>Whiskers bent, presumed by design.
<li>Sapphires are a well matched light blue hue.
<li>Double pin fitting, French assay marks.
<li>Jeweller-type scratch marks to bar of fitting.
