A mid 19th century gold and gem-set bracelet. The split pearl and ruby rectangular-shape panel, with alternate emerald and ruby slightly graduated link sides, suspending an emerald-set heart locket, with scrolling foliate engraving throughout. One gem deficient. Length 17.7cms. Weight 16.7gms.

<li>Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
<li>One gem deficient at clasp.
<li>Probable replacement gems.
<li>Safety chain is loose at one side, soft solder visible.
<li>Rubies are a well matched slightly purplish red hue.
<li>Emeralds are a fairly well matched medium to medium light slightly bluish green hue. Typical inclusions.
<li>Three emeralds with significant chips.
<li>Width of bracelet (excluding drop) 1.8cms.
