A rare late 19th century French tinplate clockwork floor train by Emile Favre.
Circa 1875, with locomotive marked F.V. beneath, the reeded gilt cylindrical body with tall chimney funnel, a driver to the footplate, together with a green-livery tender marked 'No. 15', and two coaches, one red and one yellow, each captioned 'Paris 1re Classe Metz', 15", (38cm) long overall.
