An unusual early 20th century glazed mahogany cased mirror backed ship builders 'half block' bridge and deck house scale model, detailed with gilt metal and white metal plated fittings, imitation painted windows and portholes, imitation panelled doors and applied deck fittings, to include locker, lidded cask, fire buckets, wooden deck gratings, painted air vents, and painted lifeboat with name 'Catherine', Govan, suspended below twin davits, the whole upon imitation planked decks, case 15.5" x 9.25" x 9" (39.25cm x 23.5cm x 22.75cm).

Case has damage, one rear support has broken, carved mouldings to bottom edges of sides are missing, back panel of case replaced, damage to rails and some fittings, some signs of previous glue and repairs, some fittings missing.
