A late 19th century French red boulle mantel clock.
Raingo Freres, Paris, the 4.5-inch brass dial with cellular Roman chapters (blue numerals on white), the two-train movement with Exposition stamp, numbered 2354, the waisted balloon-shaped case with cast finial to the squared bell-shaped surmount, over cast apron, lenticle surround and leg mounts, the side with further boullework, the interior with inlay to rear door, sides and floor, 15.5", (39.5cm|) high.

Small loss to one corner of surmount. Cracking and flaking to numeral VI. Some areas of staining, tarnishing and a little brass lifting to case but overall better than most examples of this type.
