Lot Description

A late 19th century brass-cases carriage clock with push repeat. The 2.25-inch circular white dial with Roman hours and Arabic minutes, within scroll-engraved surround, the two-train movement, with silvered lever platform escapement, numbered 24278, striking on a coiled blued steel gong, the case with knurled carry handle and columns, 5.75", (14.5cm) high excluding handle.
