Lot Description
A 19th century mahogany-cased 'Domestic Regulator' longcase clock.
The 14-inch white circular Arabic dial having subsidiary seconds dial, with knopped four-pillar 30-hour movement, the case with pointed pediment over brass bezel between canted corners, the glazed long trunk door also between canted corners on panelled base, 78", (198cm) high.

Condition Report
Dial - flake loss between 6 and 7. Two smaller flakes between 1 and 3. Minor edge flaking.
Movement - appears sound, untested. Slight packing to cheeks. Minor crack to one side of hood, wide split to base panel, no plinth.
One side moulding detached but present.
Has a glass jar for mercury but this is empty. No rod to pendulum so not currently operational. Sold with weight.
