An early 18th century oak coffer. The three-panel lid over conforming front with lunette-carved frieze, the end stiles and moulded divisions with lozenge-incised decoration, the former extending as legs, 48.5" x 20.5" x 23.5", (123cm x 52cm x 60cm).
