Lot Description

A good pair of Victorian Gothic revival oak hall chairs. Each in ecclesiastical style with pierced foliate cresting, top rail, roundel and quatrefoil to the lancet-arched back, the quartered panelled seat with lobed front corners on a 'Glastonbury' style X-frame base with sledge feet and turned stretcher, 47", (119.5cm) high.

Minor loss to one cresting. One quarter of a circular leaf surround is missing within one frame. Otherwise general light wear and minor knocks commensurate with age and use.
