Lot Description

A late Victorian brooch and earrings. The brooch of leaf shape with applied leaf detail and purple colour pear-shape pastes, the earrings of similar design to hook backs. Lengths 2 to 4.2cms. Weight 21.2gms.

Condition Report

The condition of this lot is fair, with dints, scratches and marks to the metal and scuffs to the gems in keeping with age and general wear. The brooch has a hook to the back which may originally have taken a removable part. The stone to one earring is a replacement of oval shape.
