Lot Description
A late 19th century micro mosaic brooch and pietra dura memorial pendant. The brooch of circular outline, the red hardstone with inlaid dove in white tesserae, the pendant of pale hardstone with vari-colour hardstone inlaid in the shape of a fly or beetle, to the hinged glazed panel on the reverse. Lengths 2.1 to 4.4cms. Weight 12gms.

Condition Report
The condition of this lot is fair. The micro mosaic brooch is scratches and chipped and the metal has some discolouration. The pietra dura pendant has dints and marks to the metal and scratches to the hardstone. The glazed panel to the reverse is in a hinged mount which is very misshapen and it barely fits within the surround.
