An early 20th century seed pearl necklace. The necklace of shell or branch-like panels all woven with seed pearls, to the push-piece clasp set with further seed pearls. Some parts AF. Length 42cms. Weight 25.4gms.

The condition of this lot is fair to poor. Many of the threaded connections between the sections of the necklace have broken. There are areas where the mother-of-pearl backing is visible due to pearls being deficient in parts. The clasp functions well and has significant tarnish.
