A late Victorian 9ct gold memorial ring. Designed as a 9ct gold band with inlaid woven hair to a central shield-shape panel. Ring size M 1/2. Width 0.5cm. Weight 1.9gms.

Overall fair to poor condition. The front shield-shape panel is heavily worn, the woven hair insert is hardened with a coating. There is a solder join visible to the back of the ring shank on the inside of the band.
