A mid Victorian gold garnet brooch.

<li>Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and small dents in keeping with general age and wear.

<li>The principal drop is presumed replacement, it has ben more recently cleaned and differs slightly in style to the main piece.

<li>Possible replacement gems.

<li>Some more noticeable dents to the back of the drop.

<li>Garnets are in closed back settings, presumed foil back.

<li>The garnets are a medium deep reddish purple hue.

<li>Some small nicks and minor abrasion. The pear-shape garnet to the drop is chipped.

<li>Width 5cms.
