In overall good condition, the lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. The hinged lid of the casket slightly over hangs off centre causing it to not shut fully flush. Remnants of polish visible on the embossed decoration with some minor loss of definition. Small vacant cartouche to each foot, slight wobble when standing. The material lined interior is starting to come away from the silver. Hallmarks clear and legible, partial hallmarks to the lid. Significant losses to the guilloche enamel on the scent bottle around the outer edge. Maker's mark is distorted, possibly H?&?, other hallmarks rubbed but still legible. The scent bottle has a fitted green suede like pop button case.
