A silver plated King Alfred pattern cased canteen for twelve place settings comprising dinner knives, dinner forks, fish knives, fish forks, side knives, side forks, dessert spoons, teaspoons (one deficient), carving set and four table spoons, in tiered fitted wooden case.

Condition Report
The canteen displays general surface wear, marks and scratches and some tarnishing to the metal. There is heavier wear to several of the pieces from general use and handling. For example, some of the fork tines are uneven in length and quite bent. There is also heavy wear and nicks around the edges of some of the knife blades. The spoon bowls are generally okay. There is some wear to the mahogany veneer of the case but the overall condition is fairly good.
