A Victorian silver double Sovereign holder, the oval hinged case entirely with wrythen decoration and opening to two sprung holders for a Sovereign and Half-Sovereign. Hallmarked Sampson Mordan & Co, London 1889. Length including suspension loop measuring 8 cm, weight 62 grams.

Condition Report
The lot appears in good structural condition displaying general scratches, marks and wear. Tarnishing particularly to the recesses and interior. Minor dint to the full Sovereign sprung platform. Partial hallmarks only visible, no city mark. Hinges and clasp in excellent working order. Would benefit from a clean and polish.
