Lot Description

A 1930's silver pedestal dish of circular form, with embossed border leading to a slightly raised centre, the whole raised upon a splayed circular partly weighted foot, with a later added black plastic to the base. Hallmarked William Hutton & Sons Ltd., Birmingham 1938. Height measures 3 6/8 inches (9.5 cm).

In good condition, the lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Remnants of polish visible. The dish has a partly weighted foot, with a later added black plastic to the base which has residue of a sticker visible. Maker's mark is slightly worn but legible, other hallmarks clear.
