A 19th century Chinese porcelain jar of globular shaped form, the white glazed ground decorated with figures gathered beneath a prunus tree, with associated cover, 9.5" (24cm) high.

Heavily rubbed and worn, with losses to decoration, and firing crack to finial of associated cover. Cover believed associated, although decorated in an identical style palette, as it does not sit correctly on the jar base.
