Lot Description

A pair of Edwardian silver mounted photograph frames, each of plain circular form with material lined back (A/F), hallmarked Chester 1905, maker's marks obscured, width measures 5 1/8 inches (13 cm). Together with a 1930's silver mustard pot and associated condiment spoon, of curved square hinged form, opening to reveal a blue glass liner, mustard pot hallmarked Deakin & Francis Ltd., Birmingham 1938, spoon hallmarked Birmingham 2009. Gross weighable silver 2 ozt (65.2 grams). (2).

In fair condition, the lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Some minor bumps and dents to the silver mounts, both photograph frames are missing the easel support, with some losses to the material back where the hinges joined, requires repair and attention. Width of frame measures 5 1/8 inches (13 cm), inner aperture measures 3 6/8 inches (9.8 cm). The mustard pot has some heavier areas of tarnishing around the curved sides and lid, the condiment spoon is also stamped 925. The maker's marks are rubbed and worn, the rest are clear and legible.
