Lot Description

A Comitti brass-framed skeleton clock. The 3.5-inch silvered lobed Roman chapter ring, the single-train timepiece movement with passing strike having wheels of five crossings, the frame with brass bell surmount and axe-head hammer over scroll supports, stamped 'Comitti 1061', 9.5", (24cm) high, on stepped mahogany plinth with glass dome.
