Lot Description

A late 19th century gold cameo brooch. Of oval outline, the grey hardstone cameo depicting a robed figure holding a bowl aloft to a collet-set surround, the reverse with an engraved monogram. Length 2.7cms. Weight 6.9gms.

The condition of this lot is fair, with light surface scratches, dints and feint discolouration to the gold. The cameo has similarly light signs of wear. Engraving to the reverse reads 'JP 1811'.
