An opal and enamel brooch. The pear-shape opal and vari-cut diamond acorn, to the green enamel foliate sides. Length 4.3cms. Weight 7.6gms.

<li>Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
<li>Brooch made of antique components.
<li>Brooch pin is slightly bent.
<li>Opal is a replacement.
<li>Green enamel is also replacement.
<li>Diamonds fairly well matched, some are old-cut and some are rose-cut diamonds.
<li>Diamonds fairly bright.<p>

<li>Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.<p>
<li>Opal has a white body colour, with good play of colour showing flashes in a range of hues, predominently orange and green, in good condition with minor surface scratches.<p>
