A mid Victorian gold, enamel and gem-set snake necklace. Designed as a split pearl and blue enamel quatrefoil locket, suspended from the similarly-set snake head and snake-link chain. Length 45cms. Weight 34.3gms.

<li>Overall condition fair. Surface scratches/wear, discolouration and dents in keeping with general age and wear.
<li>Blue enamel is showing signs of being worn away on both the snake body and on the charm edges.
<li>Spilt pearls are a cream colour, with pink tints and some surface abrasions.<p>
