Lot Description

Two 1930s diamond and enamel horse and jockey brooches. Each designed as a vari-cut diamond horse in mid-stride, with vari-colour enamel jockey, depicting riders at the 1939 Northolt races. With associated ephemera. Two diamonds deficient. Estimated total diamond weight 0.80ct. Lengths 3.6 and 3.8cms. Weight 9.3gms. With fitted case.

<li>Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.


<li>Two diamonds are deficient from one brooch on the horses front leg.

<li>Diamonds fairly bright.<p>


<li>Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment. Some are chipped.<p>

<li>Some diamond possibly replacements.


<li>Enamel in fair condition with some abrasion, surface scratches and chipped areas. <p>

<li>Small areas of enamel deficient.
