Lot Description

A late Victorian gold banded agate brooch. Of oval outline, the central oval banded agate cabochon, with a surround of further circular banded cabochons, to the two date engravings on the reverse. Length 3.1cms. Weight 7.8gms.

The condition of this lot is good to fair, with light surface scratches to the gold and agate and some tarnish to the gold. The engraving to the reverse reads '22nd Septr, 25th Augt, 1891'.
