A rare Doulton Sung flambe box and cover. Of square section, the cover surmounted by a crested bird finial (reattached), the body having panels of silhouetted winter trees, marks beneath including 'SUNG' and 'NO. 597. F.A.' (both painted), 5" square x 7.25" high, (12.5cm x 18.5cm), (a/f).
