An early 19th century blonde tortoiseshell tea caddy of small proportions.
The rectangular body with hinged pewter-strung cover having a central cartouche within rounded edges, enclosing a single lidded compartment, over shield escutcheon on later octagonal feet, 4.75" x 3.5" x 4.25" high, (12cm x 9cm x 11cm).
