An early 20th century Chippendale style mahogany writing desk. The moulded rectangular top inset with gilt-and blind-tooled tan leather skiver, over blind fretwork shallow frieze drawer between two banks each of two matching short drawers and pierced quadrants on four cluster column supports and pierced arcaded stretcher, 48" x 23" x 29" high, (122cm x 58.5cm x 73.5cm)

Water stains and scuffs plus some infilled edge knocks to top (frame surrounding skiver). Has been French polished some years ago. Minor rubbing to front.
