Lot Description

A modern silver mounted glass claret jug, the tapered clear glass body etched with fruiting vine branches, the silver neck mount having a domed and hinged lid with spout formed as the head of Bacchus, the foliate capped handle with further leaf and grape detail. Hallmarked C J Vander Ltd., Birmingham 1984. Maximum height to finial measuring 12 inches (30.5 cm).
