Lot Description

A cased Victorian silver spoon with floral and foliate engraved decoration, hallmarked Atkin Brothers, London 1882.  Together with a cased set of 1930's silver seal top coffee spoons, hallmarked Thomas Bradbury & Sons Ltd., London 1938/39, a further cased set of six silver teaspoons and pair of sugar tongs, hallmarked Gorham Manufacturing Co., Birmingham 1912/13, a 1930's loose set of six teaspoons with spiral twist stems, and further assorted spoons and a single fork, some continental. Gross weight 11.13 ozt (346.2 grams).

In varied condition, all pieces displaying some tarnishing and expected surface wear, marks and scratches. Victorian spoon and seal top spoons appear in fairly good overall condition. On the other sets, there is some damage to some of the spoon bowls, especially the spiral twist stem spoons. Hallmarks mostly clear and legible.
