A late Georgian portrait miniature clasp. Of oval outline, painted to depict a British Redcoat officer, with mother-of-pearl reverse. Length 4.2cms. Total weight 15gms.

<li>Overall condition good. Some surface scratches, general slight discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
<li>Clasp with holes for twelve strands.
<li>Mother-of-pearl reverse probable later replacement.
<li>Length of glazed panel 3.7mms.
<li>Glass with some surface scratches and small nicks.
