Lot Description

A late Victorian gold, coral and split pearl brooch. Comprising two alternating circular-shape coral and split pearl, interlocking horseshoes. Length 2.7cms. Weight 7.4gms.

<li>Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.

<li>Possible replacement gems.

<li>Significant discolouration to reverse and sides.

<li>File scratches and small dents to mounts.

<li>Split pearls are a creamy white colour, with rose and greenish overtones.

<li>Split pearls generally in good condition, some with uneven surface.

<li>Coral untested for natural colour origin.

<li>Coral is a fairly well matched light orangey-pink colour, with patches of darker colour.

<li>Coral in good condition with minor abrasions.<p>
