Two 9ct gold opal and diamond rings. The first designed as a pear opal cabochon with single-cut diamond surround, the second designed as an oval opal triplet cabochon with single-cut diamond openwork shoulders. Hallmarks for London and Birmingham. Weight 4.8gms.

<li>Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
<li>One band with noticeable discolouration to the shoulders.
<li>Diamonds well matched.
<li>Diamonds fairly bright.<p>

<li>Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.<p>
<li>The oval opal triplet cabochon, is in fair condition, good play of colour, flashes in a range of hues, the opal layer itself has a large crack extending across the surface.
<li>The pear opal cabochon is in good condition, good play of colour, flashes predominantly blue, green and orange, with minor surface scratches.<p>
