Lot Description

A set of six Finnish silver teaspoons, each with a rose modelled terminal, contained within an associated case, marked with Finnish assays marks including a town mark for Turku and date letter for 1960 alongside a pictorial maker's mark. Together with a loose set of six French silver grapefruit spoons, each of Fiddle thread pattern style with engraved monogram to the reverse of the terminal, marked with the Minerva head guarantee mark and maker's mark for Laurent Labbe (1829-1852), further marked with a Bigorne. Gross weight 5.2 ozt (163 grams).

In good condition, the lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. The Finnish spoons do not sit properly in the case which has some minor losses to the top and edges. Majority of marks clear and legible, maker's marks little distorted on the French spoons.
