Lot Description

A modern pair of silver mounted candlesticks, each circular stepped filled base with beaded borders, leading to a tapered knopped stem with circular nozzle. Hallmarked E H P Co Ltd., Sheffield 1962. Height measuring 10 5/8 inches (27.2 cm).

Condition Report

In good condition, the lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Remnants of polish visible in the decoration and around edges with remnants of wax visible to the interior of one nozzle, both candlesticks would benefit from a clean. Both have green bays covering the loaded bases. Maker's marks partly obscured but still legible, other hallmarks clear.
