Lot Description
A Maltese silver chocolate pot, of lobed bellied form with scroll capped handle with flower-head mounts, the similarly decorated tapered hinged lid with wrythen finial, the whole raised upon three stylised feet. Marked 925 alongside the Maltese Cross, further marked with a possible maker's mark 'J T'. Height measuring 7 inches (18 cm), weight 8.2 ozt (257.6 grams).

Condition Report
In overall good condition, the lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. The hinge on the lid is loose with some sideways movements. Remnants of polish visible in between the decoration. Minor loss of definition to the flower-head mounts and top of the capped handle. Marks fairly clear and legible, partial hallmarks to various sections.
