Lot Description
Two 9ct gold gem-set brooches. The first, a bar brooch designed as an oval-shape garnet collet with openwork surround and split pearl accents, the second, of openwork design set throughout with split pearl floral clusters and highlights suspending a split pearl quatrefoil drop. Hallmarks for Chester and London. Lengths 4.4 and 6.4cms. Weight 7.4gms.

<li>Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
<li>Bar brooch clasp and pin with signs of repair soft solder visible, discolouration.
<li>Garnet is in good condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges.<p>
<li>Split pearls are well matched, cream colour, with pinkish-green hues, in good condition with minor abrasions.
