A mid-twentieth century silver mounted child's rattle, modelled in the form of 'Tom Kitten', with teething ring and mother-of-pearl mouthpiece. Hallmarked W H Collins & Co., Chester 1956. Length exclusive of teething ring measures 4 1/8 inches (10.5 cm).

Condition Report
In good condition, the lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Noticeable surface scratches and wear to the teething ring. Remnants of polish visible in between the decoration. Hallmarks clear and legible.
