Lot Description

An early twentieth century silver twin-handled cup, the small circular form with panelled sides to a footed base, hallmarked Mappin & Webb Ltd., London 1910. Together with a selection of modern silver items to include a small armada dish, London 1971, a dwarf candlestick with filled base, Birmingham 1997, a cased egg cup and spoon, Birmingham 1990, a silver mounted and wood pepper mill, London 1982, and a small continental dish marked 800. Gross weighable silver 11.53 ozt (358.7 grams). (7).

In mixed state, overall fair to good condition. All items displaying some general tarnishing and surface wear, marks and scratches commensurate with age and use. Slight compression to the foot of the twin-handled cup. Heavier wear to the silver mount of the pepper mill with some small knocks and dints around the base. Also cracks to the wood. Some slight rubbing but hallmarks are mostly clear and legible.
