Lot Description
A silver and silver-gilt commemorative goblet for Westminster Cathedral, the plain flared bowl with gilded interior leading to a conforming reeded base with a banded low relief of two peacocks, contained within a fitted case with certificate of authenticity. Hallmarked Jocelyn Burton, London 1979, limited edition no. 60/1000. Height measuring 8 inches (20.5 cm), gross weight 11.6 ozt (363.3 grams).

Condition Report
In good condition, the lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Beneath the base is engraved 'The Westminster Cathedral goblet Number 60 of a limited edition of 1000 goblets produced by Art & Craft Editions Limited 1978-1979.' Minor scuffs to the fitted case. Hallmarks clear and legible.
