An early 20th century 9ct gold peridot and split pearl pendant. Of openwork design, the oval-shape peridot and split pearl foliate panel, suspended from a circular-shape peridot surmount, with fancy-link chain. AF. Length of pendant 5.5cms. Length of chain 40cms. Weight 4.2gms.

Condition Report
<li>Overall condition fair. Moderate surface scratches and tarnishing throughout.
<li>Drop deficient.
<li>Peridot is fairly well saturated, with typical inclusions.<p>
<li>Stones in fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges.<p>
<li>Split pearls show natural surface blemishes. Three look to be replacements as they are more grey in colour.
<li> The chain although of a similar age looks to have been added at a later date, it is soft soldered to the main pendant and is attached with two base metal wires to the circular peridot panel.
<li> The drop is missing from the bottom of the pendant, there is an empty suspension loop.
<li>Stamped 9k.
