Lot Description
A Georgian silver and gold foil-back diamond dress ring. The old-cut foil-back diamond floral cluster, with similarly-cut foil-back diamond foliate trefoil shoulders, openwork sides and grooved band. Estimated total diamond weight 1.20cts, principal diamond estimated I-J colour, SI2-P1 clarity. Ring size M. Weight 5.9gms.

<li>Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
<li>Band slightly out of shape.
<li>Band with evidence of repair/ resize, solder line visible.
<li>Diamonds fairly well matched.
<li>Diamonds fairly bright.<p>
<li>Foil-back diamonds with small inclusions, principal foil-back diamond with fracture visible under table facet.
<li>Due to restrictive setting, diamond colour and clarity grades are an approximation.
<li>Length of ring head 1.3cms.
