A late Georgian gold sapphire single-stone ring.

<li>Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.

<li>Band shows evidence of repair/ resize, solder line and pitting marks visible.

<li>Replacement mount. Possible replacement gem.

<li>Setting makes sapphire appear dark.

<li>Sapphire is a medium blue, fairly well saturated, with colour zoning and window effect. Good clarity and typical inclusions.<p>

<li>Sapphire is in fair condition with some abrasion to the girdle and facet edges, noticeable scratches and nibbles to some of the crown facets.<p>

<li>Length of ring head 1.6cms.
