Lot Description
A late Victorian gold split pearl and enamel locket. Of oval outline, the split pearl and blue enamel cross, with foliate engraved surround, to the similarly-engraved reverse and tapered surmount. Length 5.5cms. Weight 22.5gms.

<li>Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
<li>Locket opens to reveal two glazed compartments containing portraits of a lady and a gentleman.
<li>Split pearls are a slightly discoloured greyish white colour, with rose and greenish overtones.
<li>Split pearls in good to fair condition, some with minor abrasions and nacre damage.<p>
<li>Enamel in fair condition with some scratches and nicks.
<li>Glazed panels in good to fair condition with some abrasions and one with a small chip to one side.
<li>Width 3.3cms.
