Lot Description
A mid Victorian 18ct gold onyx and diamond mourning ring. Designed as an onyx quatrefoil, with griffin crest, to the rose-cut diamond accent gallery and black enamel shoulders. Hallmarks for London, partially indistinct. Personal inscription dated 1863. Ring size P. Weight 12gms.

<li>Overall condition fair. Surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and dents in keeping with general age and wear.
<li>Most diamonds deficient.
<li>Estimated total diamond weight under 0.05ct.<p>
<li>Decoration to shoulders and band very worn, traces of engraving and little enamel visible.
<li>Glazed panel to reverse.
<li>Personal inscription reads 'Hannah Bevan' '22nd Feb 1863.'
