An early 19th century 18ct gold memorial ring. Designed as a recessed black enamel band reading 'In Memory Of', with scrolling foliate border and rectangular-shape woven hair panel. Hallmarks for London, 1830. Ring size Q. Weight 5.1gms.

<li>Overall condition fair. Surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and dents in keeping with general age and wear.
<li>Localised, noticeable damage to black enamel in two places.
<li>Localised discolouration to inside of band and small file nick to edge of band.
<li>Glazed panel deficient, woven hair compartment open and loose.
<li>Personal engraving to reverse of hair panel reading 'Mrs Eliza Murray Obt 02nd Feb'y 1835'.
