A Georgian silver and gold Sri Lankan sapphire ring. The cushion-shape sapphire collet, weighing 5.43cts, with floral band. With report 78171-59, dated 30th July 2018, from GCS, stating Sri Lanka (Ceylon), no heat. Approximate ring size M1/2. Weight 6.2gms.

<li>Overall condition good. Some surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.
<li>Recently cleaned to a high finish.
<li>Small dents to back plate.
<li>Soft solder can be seen to reverse.
<li>Slight alterations to the shoulders.

<li>Sapphire is a closed back setting, presumed foil back.
<li>Sapphire appears to be a medium blue.
<li>Sapphire in good condition with minor nibbles.<p>
