A late 19th century painted porcelain plaque, depicting three quarter length portrait of a young female shielding lit candle before a dark ground, signed lower right hand corner 'D. Edye', and entitled 'Goodnight' in pencil to backing verso, 8.5" x 6" (21.5cm x 15.5cm), in ebonized wooden frame with gilt foliate detail.
